Here are some guidlines for preparing for your new roof from Dynasty Roofing:
Access: We will need access to your driveway to deliver materials, as well as park our work-trucks. Upon arrival of your roofing materials, the work will normally begin with-in 1-3 days. We will also need access to an electrical outlet. If there is not a working outlet on the outside of your home, please us to run an extension cord through a window or under the garage door for electrical use. Occasionally the use of a power saw can trip the circuit breaker so you will want to check your breaker box to be certain that none have been tripped. Also, we greatly appreciate you allowing us to place a sign in your yard until the roofing process is completed.
Work area: While the work is being done there will likely be loose nails and roofing debris in your yard and driveway. Through we always pick up debris and magnetically sweep loose nails. It is your responsibility to insure the safety of your children and pets. Please keep them from the work area until the final cleanup has been completed. Items near the house such as patio furniture, potted plants, bikes, grills, etc. should be relocated. Also, be aware that there will be some dust and debris in your attic if your house is being "redecked." You may want to cover your attic area with plastic sheeting during this process.
Noise: There will be constant hammering, sawing, material stacking, etc. and the occurring vibration could cause a mirror or picture to fall. Please check and remove any loose or breakable items from walls and shelves. Also, the occurring vibration can cause vaulted ceilings to reveal sheet-rock nail heads. You can easily repair the exposed nail heads with painter's caulk.
Weather: Please remember that our work is scheduled around the weather forecasts and conditions. We closely monitor local weather reports in order to insure the safety of your roof during our installation. We will do our best to start your roof when promised, however, weather delays on previous jobs can sometimes prevent us from beginning your roof as scheduled. Your patience and understanding is greatly appreciated when these situations arise.
Caution: It is very important that you check the vent connections to the water heater, furnace and stove fan after the completion of the job since vibration during the installation can cause them to become loose or disconnected. We will inspect these far you at your request. If you have a satellite dish we will gladly refasten it to the roof, however we cannot guarantee the clarity of the signal. (Consult your service provider if needed). Also, if you plan on using an insurance draft for payment be sure that you have all necessary endorsements prior to the roof completion. We can assist you with the endorsement but please notify us ahead of time.
Supervision: We use our own trained, professional crews who have worked with us for several years. These are experienced roofers who have a foreman on each job. Our trained estimators will also check on the job's progress and make a final inspection to insure that all of the work has been performed to Dynasty's standards and according to the contract agreement?Thank you for choosing Dynasty Roofing.
