4/24/11: Easter Storms Pound North Texas
Sever thunderstorms descended on North Texas Sunday evening carrying with them winds up to 60 – 70 mph. The following counties were included in a wide swath of activity: Collin, Dallas, Denton, Eastland, Parker and Tarrant. Intense showers, winds and scattered hail (up to 2”) attributed to shingles being ripped from rooftops, as well as fences and power lines being blown down.
4/18/11: Mid-Cities catch brunt of Spring Hail Storms
Reports were issued detailing large hail falling and wind gusts up to 65 mph. in several spots throughout the DFW area. Hail in excess of 3 inches was reported at Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport. Golfball sized hail was reported at I-20 and Bryant-Irvin in southwest Fort Worth, as well as, throughout Arlington and Burleson. Other areas affected by widespread wind and hail damage include Keller, Grapevine, Bedford and Cleburne.
4/15/11: Damaging Hail Strikes DFW Again
Last night another powerful storm rolled through North Texas carrying hail nearly the size of golf-balls. Hail lasted nearly 20 minutes in Lewisville. These current storm cells have covered large areas in and around Trophy Club, Roanoke, Flower Mound, Carrollton, Grapevine, Garland and Rowlett.
4/11/11: Strong Wind and Hail Storms hit North Texas
Severe storms hit Northern DFW on Monday April 11 causing widespread damage that included large hail up to 1.80” in diameter. 3/30/09 : Tennis Ball Hail Sweeps through N. Tarrant County
A severe storm producing large hail pounded Tarrant County last night.
Tennis ball hail was reported in Keller, Ft. Worth, Southlake & N. Richland Hills.
Numerous skylights were shattered and several Car Dealerships reported smashed windshields.

A massive hailstorm swept through Austin, Cedar Park & Round Rock Monday night breaking car windshields and damaging thousands of roofs. Baseball Hail pummels Tarrant & Parker Counties
Hail, sometimes as large as baseballs fell throughout the area, shattering windshields and damaging thousands of roofs.The largest hail reported was just north of Mineral Wells, where baseball-size hail was found. Also, Aledo, Ft. Worth, River Oaks, White Settlement, Arlington and Mansfield were hit hard by a snowstorm of hail.
